The company
Prima Electro S.p.A. designs, manufactures, and markets industrial-grade electronics, computerized numerical control (CNC), and motion-control products, and laser sources. The company offers embedded electronics, such as control and power electronics; laser sources; motion controls and CNC, which include automation control, CNC, drives and motors, operator panels, and IPC and I/O modules; lasers for percussion and trepanning hole drilling applications; and retrofit products for upgrading laser cutting, drilling, and welding systems.

The problem
In view of the increase of the number of items managed and the product range, Prima Electro needed to find a solution to better organize the warehouse space. In order continue to ensure an high level of customer service, the Company decided to start a restyling process of internal logistics areas in its plant located in Moncalieri (TO-Italy).

The solution
The design process was completed with the installation of COMPATTA Cargo, a mobile racking system used to store slow moving goods, typically palletized materials and large and bulky items.
